STEP 1 – PROFILE BUILDING
Move from an unknown novice to a trusted expert on LinkedIn and match your capability and credibility as a leader.
Create your plan to optimise your LinkedIn presence across the features;
1. CREATE A LEADING HEADLINE
In 220 Characters or less to position your expertise, value and place in the organisation or how you deliver your solutions as a consultant. Choose your framework;

- [What you do for whom] + [where] / [Title] [Organisation]

2. PROFESSIONAL PHOTO
Be recognisable and recent in a headshot that matches how you show up professionally.
3. BE CONTACTABLE
Ensure you emails are your current role and you have a personal email as a backup. Determine if you want to list your mobile or organisation phone number.
4. BRANDED BACKGROUND IMAGE
Add an image to communicate your brand values and vision, or showcase your crediblity, through leadership or call to action.
5. OPTIMISED ABOUT
Share your professional story, purpose and vision in up to 2,600 characters using the framework to capture attention, create attraction and compel action. See the 7 step framework in out online vault.
6. NAME PRONUNCIATION
Help profile viewers get your name correct, or share something more abotu yourself and your name to create a connection.
7. EXPERIENCE
In your current role share your value, what your organisation does and who you serve.

Aim to have at least 2 new ones to showcase your skiolls, expertise and values every 12 months. Create a process and identify who to ask from executives, team, community, partners, committee / board members, and clents if relevant.
