LinkedIn is the world's largest professional social network and the perfect place to connect and build relationships with people in your professional world. We often connect to people we meet online but have never met in person due to the nature of how the network operates.
#LinkedInLocal is a place to meet those connections in person.
This event will be facilitated by Perth's LinkedIn experts Darrel Griffin and Jo Saunders, together with LinkedIn advocate Joanna Harper.
#LinkedInLocal is a movement that is gaining momentum around the world and it's all about meeting your connections in real life. It is the brainchild of Anna McAfee , who launched the first event in Coffs Harbour in June. She said the event is all about promoting the idea of building online relationships offline and supporting local businesses. We have a deep need for human connection, but social media has blurred the lines. Getting back to basics and taking the connection offline, allows us to think global while embracing local.
The event is an informal gathering of the Perth LinkedIn network and is open to anyone who is connected to the facilitators or partners, at any stage of your career. Come along and meet your connections and make some new ones, while learning how to extend the value LinkedIn provides.
